Blink died first, Penance was second....Larry is third!

Larry's got a gun.... Larry's got a guitar.... Larry's got a gijoe figure.... Monet and Emplate? A Martini swilling Weasel? A headless dino? The vicious token having a tea party?

Our team known as Generation X has fought many foes such as Orphan Maker, X-cutioner, Gene Nation and Emplate's New Hellions. They have risked their lives many times to live their dream that humans and mutants can one day co-exist without fear or prejudice.

Then came Larry Hama......

Did you not like how the vicious Token was turned into a friendly tea party host? Don't like the idea of Mplate? Want to help Synch by beating up Dorian and Weasel? Are you disappointed with the current change to Generation X as we know it? Do you want to avenge your favorite GenXer's who can't defend themselves against the errors, lack of continuity and sad excuses for fill in creations? Now you can! Here is a way to release your anger without physically hunting anyone down and saying things you would regret.

So how do I work this? Easily with these steps and screenshots to help you out:

  1. First choose one of your "targets". (pictures of Hama and Co.) screenshot 1
  2. Click on the target in the upper left corner of the screen to grab your gun screenshot 2
  3. When the winzip window pops up and your pic you chose minimizes, choose "Open this file from the current location" and then "I Agree" screenshot 3
  4. A winzip box now appears with the two files (gun.exe and the readme file) just click on your pic on the start bar to restore it, click on your "gun.exe" and blastaway! screenshot 4
Unfortunately this "game" only seems to work with Internet Explorer 4 due to the Javascript. (the whole site is best viewed with IE4) I'm still working on how to make this work better and easier, please, if you have any suggestions let me know.

Your mouse will return to normal and you can continue your work.

This section was created due to the fact that Generation X has now had two major characters revamped to Hama's likings and destroyed the past 4 years of work that Scott Lobdell and Chris Bachalo had created for us, the readers. Hama had declared in his letters between fans at the X-Dimension that he didn't care what we, the readers, think. He felt he could bring in ridiculous enemies such as Bianca LaNeige (translation: White Snow") and her Seven Dwarves to fight GenX and no one would care. He felt he could change the characters to his liking and no one would notice. He also felt that he could bring in multiple characters from his days as "Wolverine" writer, such as Albert, Elsie Dee and DirtNap to name a few, and fans would flock to Generation X. As most of you have probably seen and heard....most of the fans were outraged.

Now before some fans get mad at me, yes I have read Hama's past works such as Wolverine and GiJoe. I will say that yes, he was good at writing solo characters and fight scenes...but that's the point. Hama was good with adult combat comics and scenes, but not with writing teens and their experiences. Now that is my opinion and I know alot of you out there feel the same way or we wouldn't have put up the Bring Back Generation X or GenX Professionals pages. If you haven't already, you should check out these sites, GenX Professionals Page had printed all the letters that has been written to and from Larry Hama. He made a point to be rude with the fans and to blame everything on everyone else such as the editors and insulting the writers at the GenX-Force Fanfic Archive (now known as "Ficworld"). He really didn't care about the fans he's was writing for or the comic characters themselves. The Bring Back Generation X Page was to enable fans to speak on their opinions about the developments of the comic and should also be viewed for the many points it creates. Hama's run did end with GenX #45, thus finishing the runs of the BBGX page and X-Dimension but the pages are still up to prove a reminder of what had happened. Well, I've taken enough of your time, here's what you all have been asking for, vent your frustrations!

PERSONAL NOTE: Just for the record, this page was designed with a game format in mind. People are free to suggest a "target" of their choice. Everyone needs a place to vent and this is better than sending emails, hounding people or saying things you would regret. The pictures posted are by request of the viewers so don't take things too seriously here, it's all by suggestion.
