(Front cover. We see Synch, Chamber, and fighting several men and women armed with guns.)
Cap (N): Taking out Snow Valley's snow!
(Inside front cover. We see the usual blurbs for Jubilee, Chamber, Synch, Skin, Gaia II, Zero G, M, Penance, Banshee, El Aguila and the White Queen. Next to that, we see these blurbs.)
Dorian and Weasel: Ne'er-do-well teenagers in Snow Valley who have been trouble for Generation X in the past. This time, however, they step past the bounderies of the law...
(Page 1, panel 1. Snow Valley outskirts, specifically an abandoned building. We see the place in longshot.)
Cap (N1): Snow Valley, Mass.
Cap (N2): This building used to be a warehouse for the now-defunt five and dime.
Cap (N3): That place went out of business with the advent of the large store.
Cap (N4): These days, however, it's being used for more sinister purposes...
(Panel 2. Go down to see Dorian and Weasel standing next to a 1982 Dodge Aries K, blue in color. They look around the place.)
Dorian: This is the place.
Weasel: So where are they?
(Panel 3. Suddenly the tip of an uzi touches Dorian in the head.)
Dorian: ULP!
Weasel: I'd say we found them.
(Panel 4. Enter two very shady drug pushers, who wear masks and conceal everything about themselves.)
Pusher 1: What are you doing here?
Dorian: Gray 23.
(Panel 5. The pushers lower their uzis.)
Pusher 1: So you're here to take the singing canaries, hm? Load it up.
(Page 2, panel 1. We see Dorian and Weasel load several boxes with yellow pills in their car.)
Dorian's thoughts: (Don't think of the weight. Think of the money you;ll get once you reach Boston.)
(Panel 2, splash panel. Leave room for credits here. Suddenly Chief Authier's police car enters the scene.)
Authier: Drop the weapons!
Pusher 1: Narco! Scatter!
(Page 3, panel 1. Dorian, Weasel, and the two pushers try to run in opposing directions.)
Authier: Drop the weapons and nobody will get hurt!
(Panel 2. One of the pushers fires his uzi, hitting Authier in the knee and leg. Authier goes down as blood is spilled.)
Pusher 1: Kiss my @$$, pig!
(Panel 3. Dorian and Weasel jump into their car and speed off.)
SFX: SKREE!!
(Panel 4. Generation X headquarters. We see the members of Generation X in the biodome, wearing their uniforms.)
Cap (N1): And about 3 miles away, oblivious to the preceeding events,
Cap (N2): Generation X gets ready for their training session.
Zero G: Well, what do you think?
Jubilee: Well, like the uniform is like supposed to be functional, right?
Banshee: Ye look nice, Tracy. All right, lads, lassies, we've got a training assignment f'r ye today. This one will test yuir ability to think fast and accurately.
(Panel 5. Suddenly shots ring out, although we do not see them. Everyone dives for cover.)
SFX: BLAM! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
(Page 4, panel 1. All stand.)
Queen: That came from outside.
(Panel 2. They exit the place to see a policeman standing in the driveway, holding a smoking gun.)
Policeman: There's a couple of drug pushers hiding out here. I suggest you leave the area until we find them.
(Panel 3. The White Queen smiles.)
Queen: We'll help you find them, officer.
(Panel 4. The policeman holsters his now non-smoking gun.)
Policeman: These men are armed and dangerous, Miss. I suggest you leave now.
Queen: We can handle it.
(Panel 5. We see M and Synch flying over the Biodome.)
M: I don't see anything, what about you?
Synch: Nothing.
(Page 5, panel 1. Jubilee and The White Queen walks toward the women's dorm together.)
Jubilee: This is like totally skanky, you know? I like-
Queen: Jubilation, we can't sneak up on these drug dealers if you keep talking.
(Panel 2. Go over to see Zero G and Gaia II flying next to each other.)
Zero G: It's crazy. Here we are, the two newest members of Generation X, and they put us together.
Gaia II: I think I see something. Follow me.
(Panel 3. We see Skin and Chamber together, going down a path.)
Skin: I see them. Venga.
(Panel 4. The members of Generation X converge on Dorian and Weasel. Dorian and Weasel have pistols.)
Dorian: They've found us!
(Panel 5. Synch rushes to them.)
Synch: You two again!
(Page 6, panel 1. Dorian and Weasel fire their guns at Synch and M, but the bullets bounce off of the two.)
SFX: BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
(Panel 2. Dorian and Weasel stop firing.)
Dorian: Holy @#$&!! They're bulletproof!
(Panel 3. M takes Dorian's gun, crushing it with one hand. Meanwhile, Zero G concentrates, making Weasel's gun get very heavy.)
M: Guns are not toys to be played with.
SFX: SKERUNCH!
(Panel 4. Weasel strains to keep his gun up.)
Weasel: Uhn! What's... happening?
(Panel 5. Weasel drops his gun. Dorian and Weasel raise their hands.)
Dorian: Don't hurt us! We give up!
Queen: Well, if it isn't you two again.
(Page 7, panel 1. Enter the policeman.)
Policeman: There you are. You are under arrest for attempted capitol murder.
Zero G: Captiol murder??
(Panel 2. The policeman pushes Dorian and Weasel against a tree.)
Policeman: They shot at the Chief, and got him in the knee.
Zero G: THEY SHOT MY FATHER!?!?!?!?
(Panel 3. Zero G faces Dorian and Weasel, who are being handcuffed by the policeman.)
Zero G: WHY DID YOU SHOOT MY FATHER!?!?!?!?
Queen (intervening): Calm down, Tracy.
(Panel 4. Zero G faces the White Queen.)
Zero G: Calm down!?!? They nearly killed my father!!!
Jubilee: Chill out. He'll make it, o.k.?
(Panel 5. Zero G slaps Weasel in the face.)
Zero G: You pig!!
SFX: SMACK!!
(Panel 6. The policeman stands between Zero G and Dorian and Weasel.)
Policeman: Tracy, calm down. I know you're stressed out. But hurting them won't make the situation better. You've got to have faith in the legal system that your father upholds.
Zero G (taken aback): Well... I guess so...
(Page 8, panel 1. The policeman leads Dorian and Weasel off.)
Policeman: You have the right to remain silent, anything you say will be taken down and can be used against you in a court of law...
(Panel 2. Zero G faces the White Queen.)
Zero G: I have to see my father. Queen: Of course, Tracy.
(Panel 3. A hospital in Boston. We see Alejandro Montoya there, holding a single rose.)
Cap (N1): Boston, Mass.
Cap (N2): The damage to Chief Authier's leg was extensive.
Cap (N3): So they had to transport him to Boston for surgery.
Cap (N4): However, in the same hospital,
Cap (N5): Alejandro Montoya visits his sister, Carmen.
Cap (N6): She, like Chief Authier, was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.
(Panel 4. We see Alejandro entering the room where his sister is.) Alejandro: Carmen, mi hermana, como esta?
Carmen: Alejandro...
(Panel 5. Alejandro gives Carmen the rose.)
Alejandro: [It pains me deeply to see you like this.*]
Carmen: [Sometimes, things will happen out of your control.]

(Page 9, panel 1. Carmen holds the rose.)
Alejandro: [I swear whoever did this will pay for it.]
Carmen: [Alejandro, promise me that you will not kill them.]
(Panel 2. Alejandro holds Carmen's hand.)
Alejandro: [I promise, mi hermana. I will take them to the police when I get my hands on them.]
(Panel 3. Go over to a few doors down. We see Chief Authier lying on a bed, covered by the sheets. The members of Generation X are there standing over him.)
Cap (N): Meanwhile...
Zero G (in tears): Father...
Chief: Don't worry, Tracy. I'll make it.
(Panel 4. Tracy holds her father's hand.)
Zero G: I swear, father, we'll bring whoever did this to justice.
Chief: Tracy, don't become obsessed. I face danger every day in my job. Relax.
(Panel 5. The White Queen intervenes.)
Queen: We'll bring them to justice.
(Page 10, panel 1. Later. We see Generation X in their uniforms out on the streets of Snow Valley.)
Cap (N1): Later.
Cap (N2): The team prepares to find the ones who shot them.
Queen: Remember, don't take them down without the rest of us.
(Panel 2.We see DK standing next to Dorian and Weasel.)
Cap (N1): Meet the villain of this piece.
Cap (N2): A man with no heart whatsoever.
Cap (N3): A man with no soul.
Cap (N3): A man with no conscious.
Cap (N4): He is known only as DK.
Cap (N5): He’s killed everyone else who knew his real name.
Cap (N6): He is head of the drug ring here.
Cap (N7): As for Dorian and Weasel, their parents posted bail on them.
DK: You two are complete idiots!!!! I give you a simple assignment and you blow it!!!
(Panel 3. Focus on Dorian’s face.)
Dorian: Don’t blame us, boss. The cops -
(Panel 4. DK Strikes Dorian’s face. Go back to a more general perspective.)
SFX: SMACK!!!
DK: COPS?! You should have known better!!!
(Panel 5. We see M and Synch flying over the scene.)
Cap (N): and several minutes later...
M: There! Look!
Synch: What?
(Page 11, panel 1. M and Synch fly toward the place.)
Synch: Everyone, we’ve found them. They’re in the old five and dime on Adams. Hurry!
(Panel 2. Suddenly a net surrounds M and Synch.)
Synch: What the --!?
(Panel 3. They are dragged to the ground by DK, Dorian, Weasel, and some others.)
DK: Well, if there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s a bunch of spies.
(Panel 4. M tears the net to shreads.)
M: A bunch of spies that can hurt you!
SFX: RRRIIIPPPP!!!
(Panel 5. DK Puts on a mask as he pulls out a gas grenade.)
DK: There’s more than one way to put you out of my way.
(Page 12, panel 1. DK Engulfs M and Synch with sleep gas.)
M: Sacre bleu!
Synch: Run for it!
(Panel 2. Synch flies off as M gets knocked out by the gas.)
Synch: Monet!!
(Panel 3. Go over to El Aguila and the White Queen. We see them in El Aguila’s black motorcyle. The White Queen hangs onto El Aguila as they ride. Both wear their uniforms, with helmets.)
Cap (N): Meanwhile, oblivious to the previous events...
Queen: Are you sure this is the way to look for them??
(Panel 4. Aguila continues to drive.)
Aguila: It is better than trying to surprise them in a limo, no?
(Page 13, panel 1. The White Queen gets the picture.)
Queen: You’re just doing this so that you can have me holding you close.
(Panel 2. Agula makes a left turn.)
Aguila: A mere fringe benefit from doing this, no? I am more concerned at this point with finding the man who hurt mi hermana.
(Panel 3. They hear the communication from Synch.)
Synch (from off panel): We’ve found them. They’re in the old five and dime on Adams. Hurry!
Queen: That’s just a block from here.
(Panel 4. El Aguila makes a U turn.)
Aguila: Hold on, mi amor. We’ll be there soon.
(Page 14, panel 1. Go over to Jubilee and Zero G. We see them running along a street.)
Jubilee: We’re not going to make it in time!
Zero G: I have an idea.
(Panel 2. Zero G and Jubilee suddenly go flying into the air.)
Jubilee: What in the world?
Zero G: I made us light enough to jump for miles, Jubes.
(Panel 3. Jubilee smiles.)
Jubilee: Major coolness!
(Panel 4. Jubilee and Zero G land near the store.)
Zero G: We should wait for the others.
(Page 15, panel 1. Go over to see Banshee carrying Penance by her arms. He holds her by her uniform as so not to cut himself.)
Banshee: Donna worry, lassie... we’ll be there soon enough.
(Panel 2. We see the members of Generation X arriving near the store.)
Synch: Thank God you’ve gotten here! They have Monet!
(Panel 3. The White Queen takes charge.)
Queen: Then we’ve got to act fast. Jubilee, Zero G, go to the back and try to stop them there. Everyone else, follow me.
(Page 16, panel 1. We see the members of Generation X converging on the store from scene 1.)
Cap (N1): And in they go.
Cap (N2): Little knowing what is in store for them.
(Panel 2. We see Jubilee and Zero G walking around to the side of the building.)
Zero G: Surround the place, she says.
Jubilee: We just got to make sure that these people get caught.
(Panel 3. Zero G and Jubilee spot Dorian and Weasel. Dorian and Weasel are armed with M-16 machine guns.)
Zero G (quietly): Ohmigawd! Those two shot my father!
Jubilee: Tracy, wait.
(Panel 4. We see a black panel.)
Cap (N1): Meanwhile, back with Monet St. Croix,
Cap (N2): Things are about to get worse for her.
(Panel 5. We see fuzzy, out of focus shapes.)
M: Uhn....
(Page 17, panel 1. We see M strapped into a chair, straining against the bonds. She is using her telekenetic power, but to no avail.)
DK: Don't bother, mutant. Those bonds are telepathic and strength resistant. Even Ol' Chuck X or Hercules couldn't get out of them.
(Panel 2. M faces DK.)
M: You filthy pig!! What do you want me for!?
DK: I need guinea pigs. After all, what better subject to test something on than a living person?
(Panel 3. DK holds up a syringe filled with a pale blue liquid.)
DK: If this works, I'm gonna call it blue lightning. Catchy name, don't you think? Oh, and this is an adamantium needle... I saw how you were bulletproof.
M (Panicking): NO!! Stop! Don't inject that into me!!
(Panel 4. M lunges at DK, hitting him. She picks up the chair she is strapped to in the process.)
M: I'll never be your Guinea pig!!
(Panel 5. DK crashes into a wall.)
SFX: SLAM!!
(Panel 6. Two bruiser types strike M on the opposite sides of her head with the butts of their machine guns.)
SFX: POW! POW!
M: UHN!!
(Page 18, panel 1. M lets go of DK.)
DK: Now, let's see how this affects you...
(Panel 2. DK injects the liquid into M's arm.)
M: UHN!! Stop... it....
DK: Too late, dearie... soon, you'll be in la-la land... or dead.
(Panel 3. DK pulls the needle out of M's arm, which bleeds.)
DK: Keep a watch on her... let me know if anything develops.
(Panel 4. Exit DK.)
M: MURDERER!! HAVE YOU NO SHAME AT ALL!?!?!?!?
(Panel 5. M starts feeling sick.)
M: Uhn...
(Page 19, panel 1. Go back to DK. He looks with concern at the viewer.)
Cap (DK1): She's the last one.
Cap (DK2): Everyone else has died from that drug.
Cap (DK3): Let's hope she's the exception.
(Panel 2. Go back out to see Zero G holding Dorian and Weasel down with her graviton power.)
Zero G: GIVE ME ONE REASON WHY I SHOULDN'T KILL YOU RIGHT NOW!!!!
(Panel 3. Jubilee stands between Zero G and Dorian and Weasel.)
Jubilee: Zero G, stop! Remember, you promised your father they'd face justice!
Zero G: These two are no good, Jubilee... But you're right.
(Panel 4. Zero G lets go of Dorian and Weasel.)
Dorian: UHN! >Gasp!<
Zero G: If you move before the police arrive... I will hunt you down and kill you.
(Panel 5. We see the members of Generation X nearing DK.)
Banshee: That's the leader! After him, lads!
DK: You'll never catch me!
(Panel 6. Generation X surrounds DK.)
Banshee: Give it up, laddie. We know you're behind the drugs!
(Page 20, panel 1. DK Fires his gun at the members of Generation X, who scatter.)
DK: You won't take me in!
(Panel 2. The White Queen concentrates.)
Queen: He's got some kind of psychic shield on him.
(Panel 3. Gaia approaches him, and the bullets bounce off a TK shield.)
Gaia: I've had enough of your type!
(Panel 4. Gaia makes DK's gun explode.)
Gaia: You're going down!
SFX: BLAM!
(Page 21, panel 1. Generation X closes in on DK.)
DK: When all else fails, have a backup plan.
(Panel 2. DK throws a smoke grenade, engulfing Generation X in smoke.)
SFX: HISS!!!
Word balloon: *Cough!*
(Panel 3. Exit DK in the smoke. Panel 4. The members of Generation X stagger out of the smoke.)
Jubilee: *Cough!* That was like *Hack!* Totally skanky!
Banshee: M's *cough!* Still in trouble.
(Panel 4. Gaia rushes to the metal door.)
Gaia: I hope she is all right.
(Page 22, panel 1. The door breaks down thanks to a TK blast from Gaia. We see Gaia standing there.)
Gaia: Ohmigawd!!! M!!
(Panel 2. Gaia rushes to M, and checks on her.)
Cap (G1): She's not breathing.
Cap (G2): I hope I am not too late.
(Panel 3. Gaia takes M's pulse.)
Gaia: No.... (Panel 4. Gaia hangs her head down as Jubilee, Synch, the White Queen, and El Aguila enter.)
Aguila: Que Pasa?
Gaia: She's dead.
(Panel 5. All are shocked.)
Jubilee: Dead? Are you like sure?
Gaia: Yea. I checked her over.
(Panel 6. Enter Banshee, Penance, and Chamber.)
Banshee: No....
Gaia: We got here too late, Mr. Cassidy.
(Page 23, panel 1. Generation X headquarters, in a gadren. We see the team wearing black, standing over the grave of M. Other X people are there.)
Cap (N1): It's never easy, saying goodbye.
Cap (N2): M had a lot of promise.
Cap (N3): But now, all hopes are dashed for her.
(Panel 2. The White Queen speaks.)
Queen: In all my years of training my fellow mutants, I never saw one with as much promise as Monet. She could have been a great force for peace in the universe. She was smarter than any of us, stronger, and very powerful.
(Panel 3. Focus on the White Queen's face.) Queen: Now she's gone. A victim of a war she never wanted to be in. A war that kills the innocent, drains the uninvolved, and makes the guilty rich. Let's hope her death is not in vain; if she's gotten someone to stop using drugs, someone to seek help.... then she will not have died in vain.
(Panel 4. later. All have left, except Synch.)
Cap (N1): Several hours later.
Cap (N2): Synch has returned to M's grave.
(Panel 5. Synch kneels next to M's grave.)
Synch (1): Monet, I know we didn't have much time together, and that we barely talked....
Synch (2): But you were like the sister I never had.
Synch (3): I'll never know what could have been.
(Panel 5. We see a tear fall onto M's grave.)
