In everything that's happened
I find that my only defense is to hide
To hide from everything
To hide from everyone
To hide behind
A brick wall facade
Pretty, happy, and bright
Shield them from the black cloud
The swirls and grows
Within the brick wall facade
No one bothers to test the mirage
They take it for me, take it as is
And never questioning anything
About the brick wall facade
I used to struggle to keep up the act
Now the act has become a natural cloak
A second skin to cover my own
The brick wall facade
I've let down my guard before
An invitation to my friends to see the truth
But no one enters or tries to see through
The brick wall facade
They don't want to see through
They're content with lie
A pretty picture painted by fear
On the brick wall facade
In everything that's happened
I find that my only defense is to hide
