AGE OF APOCALYPSE: GENERATION NEXT PART 1:
(starts after iss#5 of GenX) If Apocalypse ruled the Earth what would happen? In this version of the world Chamber,Paige,Mondo,Skin and Vincente are "practicing" in their own little training camp. Their "teachers" Colossus and Shadowcat are teaching the kids to survive in this world to become X-men and rid the world of Apocalypse...in the worst possible ways, kill or be killed by them. Their fight is broken up by Magneto,leader of the X-men. Magneto informs Colossus and Shadowcat that a time traveler (Bishop) has informed him that the death of Xavier 20 years ago that altered the time line should have never happened and that it is up to their team to find a time traveling mutant to right this situation. (read all the other AOA books to get the whole picture to set the world straight,this is only one section in the AOA storyline) Scanning through the computer Know it all(possibly a version of M),risking their cover, they find a living time traveler...Illyana Rasputin. Colossus' sister thought dead many years ago, she was taken to "The Core" and used as a slave. It's up to GenNext to rescue her. Likelihood of rescue:.000%

AGE OF APOCALYPSE: GENERATION NEXT PART 2:
Starts with advice from Illyana to her friend in the Core. Outside the core, Skin is impersonating an "Apoc Shuttle" driver to pick up two workers when Chamber blasts them to get their suits for himself and Skin. Colossus' plan is for the kids to sneak through the front door while the teachers go around the back. Paige poses as a slavegirl to Quietus, a High Foreman at the Core. Quietus finds out and attacks her, thank goodness Vincente was there though. With Quietus dead Vincente and Paige pose as Quietus and search through his files to see if they can locate Illyana. They find Skin and Chamber posing as herd workers and continue their mission.

AGE OF APOCALYPSE: GENERATION NEXT PART 3:
A heartless mutant guard has killed two family members in the core and Mondo isn't going to stand for it. "Quietus" is searching through the files and come across the "Sugar Man", Quietus' boss. Sugar Man discusses the fact that they've noticed someone psi-surfing the files and are thinking it's a break-in. Colossus and Shadowcat have just arrived at the front door. The workers are harrasing Illyana's friend and Mondo saves her. "Quietus" has been cornered by Sugar Man and is told to kill the intruders he's with.(Skin and Chamber)Mondo finds and takes Illyana. The teachers go in and will Skin and Chamber die? Read on...

AGE OF APOCALYPSE: GENERATION NEXT PART 4:
Mondo is walking through the core posed as a regular Joe I guess, when Illyana blows his cover. Sugar Man has found out that Quietus isn't all he seems to be and attacks him, severly wounding Vincente in the process. The fight is on! The kids find Mondo and are attacked by the Sugar Man once again until Colossus crashes in and settles the score. The whole main core is now under seige by all of the humans rebelling against the mutants and there's no other way out. They charge through the core and the mutants, Paige, Chamber, Skin, Vincente are left looking out of the massacre as Colossus,Shadowcat and Illyana soar out of the compound. As soon as the three of them are safe outside the compound, Colossus runs back to help the kids...but he is too late. They have rescued Illyana but they have paid with their lives......
