Guest Villains: Cordelia Frost, Juggernaut, Black Tom Cassidy, Mondo, Mister DeLacourte

"Ho, Ho, HO. Merry X-Mas, kiddies -- from yer Uncle Juggernaut!" is the opening Juggernaut gives us as he attempts to flatten the members of GenX with a swing of his massive fist. The normal students have gone home for Christmas, lucky for the GenXers, they would have plenty fun trying to explain their situation. That being a huge battle between GenX, Black Tom, Juggernaut and Mondo on the Academy grounds. As the battle progresses, Chamber faces Juggernaut one-on-one. When the smoke clears, all that is left is Juggernaut holding an unconscious Chamber, weakened from overusing his psionic energy. Emma mentally takes a hold of Black Tom and turns him on Juggernaut, who is unfortunately not bothered by his powers. Juggernaut gets fed up with the whole thing and thunderclaps everyone unconscious.

Meanwhile in the Swiss Alps at a boarding school, we find Monet frustrated, standing outside a crime scene at the dorms. She's comforting her roommate Charlene, whose friend Tabby was killed at the school a short while ago. Mister DeLacourte, the headmaster, asks Monet to take Charlene to her room to rest and then to go to his office. Things are about as hectic at the Academy as the GenXers and Cordelia wake up to find that they are bound together, unable to move. Black Tom states that Mondo won't save them, in fact, Generation X has never met him before! He begins to tell a story...there was a girl named Cordelia Frost, she attempted to enter the Hellfire Club's inner circle. She had befriended and captured a mutant named Mondo and was trying to use him as a way to buy herself membership. Shaw was unimpressed, but unexpectedly, an armed troop broke in and took Mondo away from them in the name of their employer, "Barrington". Then little ol' Cordelia came running to the Academy to get the GenXers and their headmistress Emma, Cordelia's older sister, to "rescue" him. The team rescued him, he joined the team and later betrayed them. How did he know all this? Because he was "Barrington". Once he liberated Mondo from Cordelia's grasp, he replaced him with a clone he created, a clone which was made from the start to infiltrate the school. Bastion destroyed the clone, but the real Mondo had been with Black Tom the whole time.

Skin manages to manipulate his skin and escape from the bindings. As the evil trio turn to capture him again, Penance comes from the woods and breaks apart the others bindings with her sharp claws. Penance then leaps to slice off Juggernaut's helmet and Chamber takes Black Tom out with a psionic blast. Jubilee and Skin go after Mondo and as Penance tears the helmet off and Banshee removes the mask Juggernaut was wearing to make him invulnerable to psychic powers, Emma unleashes a psi-bolt, disabling the Juggernaut. Mondo uses his powers to enable escape for the trio, leaving the team to grumble over the whole situation. At the time of the end of the battle, Monet is talking to Mister DeLacourte. As he talks to Monet, he seems to be attempting to hypnotize her! M's telepathic powers block the attempt, alerting DeLacourte that she is stronger than he believed. He becomes enraged and his face distorts, revealing fangs, he's a vampire! He attacks Monet, who barely manages to overpower him. He retreats, leaving through the window, leaving Monet in the office to wonder if she should call the Academy. Nah, why panic, after all, it's not like he bit her. As Monet lifts her hand from her neck as she stares out the window, she is shocked to see her fingers covered in blood. The vampire DeLacourte did succeed in biting her!

Guest Villains: Mister DeLacourte

It's a silent night at a lonely graveyard in Switzerland. That is until a faint scratching is heard from the grave of Tabitha Gance, the girl who was killed at the boarding school that Monet is attending. Baring fangs, Tabitha has become a vampire, she is yearning for blood. As seen in the Journal of Monet St. Croix, she describes that she thought she left the Academy because she didn't fit in, she wasn't interested in fighting for a world that hates and fears her because she is a mutant. So why is she anxious in ending the murder spree at her new school? She knows it was DeLacourte who is behind it all, she has proof with the bit marks on her neck. Luckily, being bitten by a vampire doesn't make you one yourself, you must be killed by a vampire in order to be resurrected as one. Being bitten normally makes you susceptible to Mental Domination, but her telepathy enables her to tune out his power, not without alot of concentration however. Monet then finds it clear, she must tell the authorities. Doing so, the police arrive on the scene and Monet leads them to the Dean's office.

The secretary is alarmed as they enter to find a calm DeLacourte in his office. The police don't believe Monet, as she expected without proof. She thinks she has enough proof however and whisks open the curtains, bathing the room in pure sunlight. Mister DeLacourte merely squints in the sun and asks Monet if she's alright. But all the books said that Vampires turn to dust in sunlight, Monet thinks to herself. DeLacourte apologizes to the police and sees them on their way. Monet threatens him, saying she stop him herself since the police won't. DeLacourte scoffs, Monet alone? She threatens him again, only making him tell her to give him some credit. "Do you really think I'm dumb enough to attack you right here, after the police just left?" With that he leaves Monet alone in the office to ponder what her next move should be. She leaves and comes across Charlene, the other girl who had found Tabitha's body. She offers to talk with Monet about it, but she refuses. When nightfall arrives, Monet thinks she's prepared, she doesn't want to fall back on the Academy, making her seems weak, she instead looks up info on the Internet. To kill a vampire, she must either cut of it's head or stake them in the heart. Decisions, decisions. She is sudden attacked from behind by the vampire Tabitha. Unlucky for her, Monet is wearing a cross on her necklace. The vampire retreats and is quickly vanquished with a sharp branch from a tree that Monet pierces her with. Monet is shocked, she tries to convince herself that she didn't commit murder, after all, the girl was already dead.

Elsewhere on campus, Charlene is in Mr. DeLacourte's office, talking to him about how is constantly has nightmares about the whole thing. He tells her that everything will be alright, and bares his fangs. Monet, in full battle armor, crashes through the window and orders him to back away from her. He turns to mist and escapes leaving Monet to tell Charlene that he's a vampire and to go to a friend's dorm, not to be alone. She leaves in a hurry and the secretary runs in to see what the problem is. As Monet turns to the window, she notices that the secretary does not leave a reflection, she's a vampire that helped him keep his secret! Monet easily dispatches her and uses their telepathic link to backtrack and find his location as he is about to feed on another victim. She whisks him off his feet where he turns to mist, escapes her grasp and then turns into a half human, half bat creature. He gloats that a procedure pioneered by a Nazi vampire called Baron Blood enables him to withstand the sun's rays. They soar around the school grounds and the game comes to an end as Monet grabs him and throws him onto a spike that adorns the rooftops. With the death of DeLacourte, the school is closed and burned to the ground. No one decides to speak of the incident again. Monet was left to decide which school she would choose to continue her education. She kept turning back to the same school however. She smiles as she takes the bags from her limo driver and stands outside the gates of the Massachusetts Academy.

Guest Villains: Johnston Coffin ("Warden" Coffin)

South America, 6 months ago. Johnston Coffin's door is kicked down by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and they state they are arresting him for crimes against humanity. He puts up a fight saying that its a decency deficit, he's gets paid to perform these "so-called crimes against humanity" and they get paid to stop him. "More often than not, the wages come from the same account...I love it." He quotes as the light switch off and he terrorizes the team, defeating them easily with his powers. As he finishes the last opponent, the phone rings. "My terms have been accepted, excellent, the position is mine? Oh yes. All hush-hush, understood. Thank you, Mr. Secretary, I look forward to returning to the United States." He replies with a smile. Switching to the Academy, we see ruins along the grounds. Inside, Jubilee and Chamber argue over her finding a pair of his underwear on the floor on the way to the laundry, amongst some other things. (why they went into detail on this discussion is beyond me...) After the inane arguing between Chamber, Jubilee and Paige (who was typing on the computer nearby) has ceased, Emma states that she is pleased that she made a million dollars on an island that used to be Adrienne's.

Outside the grounds, we find Banshee having a training session with M and Skin. He challenges Skin first. He's extremely strict with him, arguing how he can be so stupid, that he knows his powers and to use that knowledge to his advantage. He then challenges Monet, he'll tap her shoulder in 20 seconds, how will she stop him? He flies off and turns to fly straight at her, letting loose a sonic wail that knocks her off her feet. He insults her as well which really ticks her off and she takes a hard swing to his face, only to be have him sonic wail her hard into the remains of a wall. She lies there, frustrated and unbelieving. Banshee lets her know that she really needs to get her control back. He knows how she's feeling, he's lost loves himself. "I miss Everett too, yeh know we all do". He says soothingly as M crushes a rock in grief. Inside the Academy, Paige is surfing the mutant hate newsgroup and stops to get another pop. Emma says (among insults) that she heard her muttering, was anything wrong? She states that while they try to monitor mutant hate lists, and since the Columbine tragedy, they have been following suppression stories as well. She says she's starting to see a pattern in the stories. Remember the kid who wrote a violent story for school and he was arrested? Well it's happening alot in other schools, and the news aren't picking up on it. The kids get arrested and taken away, but they never come back! After...what happened, the team wants to make a difference. They're not training to be super heroes anymore. None of them are thinking that way anymore, they believe they can make a difference and change the way people think about things. Emma listens to her speech and asks her if she really wants to look into it. She says she does and with that, Emma gives her permission to go ahead with her plan. Meanwhile at a Juvenile Hall, a guard takes a young boy out of his cell. "Am I going home?" "No" states the guard, he's being moved. All he did was make a videotape talking about the killings. He'd been there 4 days, can't he at least see his mom? He is led to a van outside the grounds where he is shoved in, and the last pictures we see are of the guards lifting a needle to the boy's eye as the van leaves.

Everyone is gathered in the Academy living room and listening intently to Paige discuss the situation at hand. It seems there are a pattern of abductions. The kids aren't breaking any laws, but they are being taken away and the news is getting quieter and quieter on the subject. The kids aren't even being held in jails anymore and no one knows where they are being held. A couple of underground journalists have gotten snippets of info on something called the "House of Corrections". The police and F.B.I. aren't talking and GenX wants to find out what's going on. Banshee is rough, he does not want the kids to be involved. Emma disagrees and lets the kids use the jet, providing Sean does the flying. Although he disagrees with the idea, he seems like he doesn't have much choice. Meanwhile in the desert, we see our unfortunate boy being experimented on as the van he was shoved into approaches a desert compound. He's forced inside, through a corridor of cells. A mutant boy who is attempting to escape using his flame powers to melt the cell lock is caught in the act. The guards alert others who release backup, a huge mechanical monster with a withered corpse of a mutant named "Emma:0052" in control. This mechanical fright unlocks the cell as the boy is scared to death, promising he'll behave. Too late, the machine uses it's clamps for hands and latches onto the boys head and throat. With a twist of it's mechanics, the new prisoner stares and horrified at the sight as he's dragged away...

The gang is parked in front of a school, with Angelo staring at the school girls walking by. Jubilee ribs Angelo, she orders Skin and Chamber to stay in the car with the driver. She says that they look like mutants and they don't, so they'll go to the school. This really ticks the guys off, "Be that way, you suck." Angelo fumes. As they walk the school grounds, Jubilee admits that she doesn't know how to talk to normal kids her age, they should ask the questions...Skin's right, she does suck, she admits. With the self pity out of the way, the kids enters a class in the school. Monet speeds (and I mean speeds!) through the filing cabinet to an amazed Jubilee staring. Monet hands the file she was looking for, "Jonothan Somers" the latest missing youth, to Husk where she notes that the files have been duped to a "correctional facility". only computer info, no forwarding notes, and his school record had been closed. Later in the car, Paige uses her palm computer to look up the information on Jonothan Somers that was in the file, only it's very protected. Paige manages to find the location of the facility and it's off to the airport...all the way with Jubilee flirting with the driver. Back to the compound, the young boy is waiting outside an office with the guards. He's led into the office where he sees many animal heads mounted on the walls as well as...a human? "That one always attracts attention." Johnston Coffin states. Tried to assassinate him, but he doesn't die easily, he gloats. He announces himself as "Warden Coffin" and that he is in the "House of Corrections", one of America's dirty secrets. He has been the custodian for many years and he explains that America is afraid of it's children...he has been appointed to contain and "educate" these children...

The GenXers arrive at the airport and are about to board the plane when they are suddenly attacked by mysterious men in black garb. Banshee yells for the group to cover Jubilee as her fireworks risk her accidently igniting the jet fuel around her. The team goes full force and seem to be taking the men out with ease. That is until a man sneaks out from around their trashed car and fires his gun at Skin. Paige notices and immediately husks her skin to help Angelo. Through an incredible transformation, Paige suddenly finds that she has gained a new ability, she is outrunning the bullet! She tackles Skin out of the way and glances back to see a streak of fire leading from where she stood, to where she lay on the ground after she saved Skin. The strange men retreat leaving the team to wonder how they were found in the first place. Husk sheepishly let Banshee know that it was her fault. She peers through the records they "borrowed" from the school and finds that she didn't notice a locator device taped in the file. The men merely followed the signal.

Meanwhile, in the House of Corrections, Warden Coffin is questioning his main guard, Baxter. With nothing new to report, he lets Baxter know that the Somers file had been pulled from the school. He orders Baxter to keep the guards on alert and to have his "special children" primed. Back to the GenXers, Paige lets everyone know that she's found more information on the missing kids. It seems that this place they are in looks to be like a penitentiary for kids but worse. There are over a thousand kids locked away in this torture chamber! Paige votes they sneak in, but Jubilee disagrees highly. Her plan is that the guards will be waiting for them in all the spots they could possibly sneak in from. They should just bash down the front door and infiltrate the building. Banshee not only agrees with Jubilee's plan, he appoints her as leader of the mission! In order to expose the project, Paige vows she will dump every bit of information she can get on this project and dump it onto the web, they will never be able to cover that kind of publicity. So as the guards are appointed places to check out, Banshee's sonic scream shatters the door as Paige's armored form takes out the guards on the way in. Monet slams the door off of it's hinges and into the guards. As the guards recoup, we see the team in the doorway. to which Jubilee states in a straight face, "You wanna come out and play?"

The children captured by Warden Coffin watch horrified at the battle that is waiting to happen. With the head guards say so, the guards aim at the GenX team. Chamber shoots first with a bio-blast that burns the jackets off of some guards. Jubilee orders Monet to go next, and she lets loose her pent-up anger! She rips out the metal railings surrounding her and pummels the guards, yelling at the top her lungs how she hates people like "them" telling mutants how to live. She is losing it, the fire burning in her eyes even as the guards open fire on her into the remains of the bent and broken metal she wields. Skin is shocked at Monet's assault, but the orders still fly from Jubilee, ordering Paige to rip open the cell doors since she is in a strong armored form herself. From floors above, guards aim at Monet, leaving a split decision for Chamber to blast the floor from beneath them to save her. The intercom system suddenly pipes up, Warden's voice echoes through the halls for his guards to stand down and release the "special children".

This wasn't the first House of Corrections around, the first was opened in 1968 and when it was closed in '73, he couldn't bear to leave some of the children behind. Standing before the GenXers is three mostly cyborg creations with rotting bodies of children encased inside, doomed to follow Warden's orders forever. Jubilee is horrified, she orders Skin to find Warden as the rest take on the kids. Skin makes his way to the Warden's office only to be shocked that it seems as if the Warden is a mutant himself! As the Warden levitates above the ground, he's furious that he'll have to break the children's spirits over again, and lets loose an unbelievably fast assault on Skin, too fast for him to counter. With the GenX team, they realize that the children in the metal gear don't want to fight them any more than the GenXers do. With the plea of one cyborg, the teens begin the grim task of shutting down each cyborg child one by one. In the office, Skin is being badly beaten, and to add more pain, the warden quips, "First you die. Then your mutant friends...Possibly I might keep the girls." The walls suddenly burst inward as Banshee soars in, absolutely furious! Banshee assures him that he's no child, nor a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with a gun, to which we see a different view of the building as Banshee's sound waves smash Warden Coffin through the wall. Now that that's over, what do they do with the children? Paige smiles as helicopters and cars begin to flood the area. She went through the House's records and pulled all the contact info for the families of the captured children. She sent the families all the same email with the address and the message, "Come and get your children." The GenXers then retreat, pleased that they could make a true difference today...

London, six months ago. With see Adrienne Frost at her flat, getting dressed and talking to someone off-panel. She says she has had fun playing "White Queen" and all, but she must get back to the States, she has some things she has to take care of concerning her sister, Emma. "Are you going to miss me?", she says to the man laying in the bed. No answer, of course not, the man Adrienne gives a kiss goodbye to is comatose. "Bye-bye, Sweetie" she quips as she leaves to go to the States.

Meanwhile, at the Academy on a school morning, Monet accidently bumps into Everett as he's waiting to wash-up. Monet gladly hands him the items he's dropped as Jubilee comes running in on the scene, she's now curious as to why Everett is acting oddly all of a sudden. Later in the day at the cafeteria, the gang try to figure out what the mystery meal is today, only to be distracted by a disturbance a few tables over. It seems that some guys are pushing around another student, just because he doesn't look the same as they do. Skin quickly interupts the fight, only to accidently get his skin stretched by one of the bullies. The bullies quickly depart, leaving Skin to believe that he needs to see Emma and Sean about this incident. Later, we see the gang in the office as Emma tells them all that she just got off the phone with the boy's parents who are furious and babbling about "freaks and mutants" running loose in the school. Sean states flatly that he shouldn't have interfered, "Yeh botched up" he says. Paige doesn't like that statement, but Emma enforces that they all have to be more careful, it would be extremely bad if it got out to the rest of the school that there are mutants around. Jubilee is outraged, Angelo was just being a good guy and they should be punishing the jocks that were pushing that guy around, not Angelo. Sean is exhausted at her outbursts, and she just wishes they would stop treating them like babies. "Maybe you shouldn't act like a baby then. It's times like this I wonder why you can't be more like Everett." states Emma flatly to a hurt Jubilee. Jubilee storms out of the office back to her room where Everett is waiting outside the door for her. He was hoping to talk to her about what happened that morning between him and Monet, but she won't listen and slams the door in his face.

Later that night, Monet and Ev are walking hand in hand through the snow outside the school grounds. She wonders if Ev missed her, she missed the Academy and everyone while she was away at the Swiss boarding school, but she just wanted to see Everett again. "It's not easy for me to talk about this, you know," she whispers as they lean in for a kiss. From a distance, Adrienne is watching the whole thing through binoculars as she sits in her car. Her guards state that the security at the Academy is tight, but the mission is still a go. Adrienne smiles and swears that Emma will curse the day that she ever tried messing with her. She allows Mister Ravenwood to commence the operation and drives off into the night.

Everett is getting ready for a day of classes as he adjusts his tie in the mirror, every now and then taking a quick glance at a picture of the GenX crew. Mostly he's focusing on Monet's face in the picture. He leaves for class only to be jumped by three students and thrown into an empty room. There they intimidate him and try to force him to say that the gang he hangs around with is a bunch of mutants. He refuses to budge and the gang is then interrupted as Monet hears the commotion and enters the room. Monet is concerned over Synch, but he's more worried about what this is all going to come to if the students find out they're mutants. In another section of the Acadamy, a furious Sean storms into the White Queen's office to talk to her about what happened to Everett. Unfortunately, Emma is not alone, her backstabbing sister, Adrienne Frost, is there as well. Banshee and Adrienne clash, but are quickly interupted by Emma who explains that the only reason she is here is because she ripped off the London chapter of the Hellfire Club for millions and needs a place to hide out...that and if they don't hide her, she'll release the news to the press that the school is a training grounds for mutants. Emma despises it as much as Banshee, but they have no choice but to let her stay.

On the school grounds, Jubilee is grumbling about how much homework they have to do when she suddenly hears someone yell "MUTANT!" from behind her. As she turns, she is pelted in the face with an ice-ball. Lying stunned on the ground, the students merely stare at her with condeming silence, refusing to help her. As a scared Jubilee questions who said that word, they stare at her until she runs from the crowd. The White Queen sees all this from her window and quietly taps a combination into a safe box in her desk drawer, releasing a gun from inside which she hides in her clothing. Shortly there after, everyone is gathered in Sean's office to hear the news of what has happened to Skin, Everett and Jubilee. Sean states that the situation is becoming too intense with the recent anti-mutant aggressions and believes that the teens need to limit their exposure to the rest of the students. In other words, they will no longer attend classes and be limited to their own rooms. To finalize their dread, Emma states plainly that Adrienne's back and that she might be responsible for the recent anti-mutant sentiments. The shocked teens then head back to their rooms, grumbling about the events, until Paige speaks up. "Hey guys, do you smell that?" "I think it's smoke", states Skin, "oh man, something is definitely burning!" They rush to the scene as Jubilee screams in anguish. Her room has been fire-bombed and through the blaze and smoke you can plainly see spray-painted on the wall, anti-mutant slogans such as, "Die mutie freak" and "mutant scum". Chamber holds Jubilee back as she screams and crys as her room and all her belongings go up in flames.

A quiet winter night is the perfect night for Adrienne to seduce a student, luring him to her room with a note and slamming the door behind him. Not aware of Adrienne's plans, Sean is showning the girls how to operate the security locks on their room, taking their joking with a little grain of salt. Paige apologizes, stating that they are nervous, and it's how they're dealing with the recent events. Sean agrees and tells them to relax a little before he takes off. The girls sit in silence for a short time before Jubilee stats how much the situation sucks. "Tell me about it. I just acquired three new roomates", snaps an annoyed M. Jubilee comments sadly that at least she still has a room, hers was torched by the students believing she was a mutant. All her stuff is gone, her clothes, her only pictures of her deceased parents. Paige consoles Jubilee while Penance and M look on in silence. Meanwhile, in Jono's converted room, Skin and Ev play a game of "Ninja Boogie" and joke around. Chamber starts the conversation by asking if the guys hate the ones that were giving them trouble the other day. Skin states that he doesn't hate them, perhaps he has qualms with the ones who torched Jubes room though. Chamber continues by saying he hates to hide, always in fear of being discovered. Ev pipes in saying that not all the students are bad, he can understand why they're afraid, all the powers they have and all. They should try to understand the humans, they can't all be bad. "I know that's true Ev, but sometimes it just doesn't feel that way." Chamber states blandly, which silences them all.

Emma and Sean are now in her office discussing the events. and answering calls from angry parents who think that she is "harboring mutants". Emma is sure that Adrienne is behind it all. Emma had poked around the Hellfire Club and couldn't find any evidence that they were after Adrienne. She thinks shes just out to cause trouble. Sean agrees, but why is she leaking info anyway if she was going to blackmail them with it anyway? It doesn't make sense. In the hallways, Paige and M meet outside the Cafeteria. They had been listening around and seeing how much talk there is about the "mutant crisis". They both found too much talk on the subject and Angelo's name popped up a few times. Before they an continue though, a chair is flung out the cafeteria doors and as the girls cautiously look in, they see two guys attacking the small goth that Angelo had helped earlier. Before a tough can land another punch, M grabs him and flings him to the other side of the room. "What's wrong with you people?" She shouts, "Is there something written somewhere that says you are better than everyone else?" She lifts the boy off the ground, all the while yelling. "What is the constant need to ridicule and hurt people who don't fit into your idea of 'normal'? Well? ANSWER ME!". Sean enters and orders M to release him. Paige runs up to M and asks her what she was thinking when she did that to the boy. M answers numbly, "I don't know, I just snapped." Later on at night, Ev is studing in the library until Monet enters, saying she got his note. Ev is glad she could make it and comments on how good she looks. So do you, she answers calmly before they embrace in a long passionate kiss before the librarian inturrupts them. M suggests they find someplace where they can be alone instead...

The night drives on as the scenes pass over the school, rom Jubilee looking sadly out the window, the anti-mutant slogans spray-painted on the walls, and to the boy who had just escaped from Adrienne's room. It switches to the White Queen as she says to Sean that the doctors aren't sure if the boy will make it, he had massive internal bleeding and broken ribs. How could all this happen? Sean thinks they should re-evaluate their methods, the humans can be as much as a threat as any Emplate or Mondo. The White Queen agrees, she got a call earlier saying that Penance, Artie and Leech arrived safely in Morocco, that he thinks it's a good idea to get them out of harm's way, what with their plainly obvious mutations. They mull over the situation for a while and stare out of the window into the night, until something catches Sean's eye. Headlights break the night as many cars storm into the Acadamy's lot. "Hate" is all Emma whispers as she stares at the cars pulling in. "What did yeh say?" questions Sean. "That's what I sense from them Sean...Hate and Fear!"

The Acadamy is being stormed by furious and scared parents who have come to rip their children away from the presence of the mutants that they believe are present at the school. Emma and Sean run for the main hall, knowing that the parents are starting to riot outside the doors. Before they get there, Sean corners Adrienne, threatening her that he'll tear her apart if she's resposible for this. "Silly man, it's already FAR too late." Adrienne gloats as Sean runs to the main doors after Emma. The parents break through the doors and trample Emma as they run through main floor all the while Adrienne gloats to them about the panic. Emma is furious with Adrienne demanding her to tell her if she started this. Adrienne smiles as she tells Emma to relax, after all, the bombs haven't even started to go off yet. Sean takes off to find the bombs while Emma confronts Adrienne. "You are behind this aren't you? The bullies, the explosives, these panicked parents...what did you TELL them?" "Why the truth of course." Adrienne's reply after she broad kicks Emma in the jaw. Adrienne pummels Emma and waltzes off to find the GenXers to complete her mission, to destroy the kids that Emma cares for.

Terrified parents grab their children and try to lead them to safety away from the crowded halls of the Acadamy. Sean finally comes across some members of GenX, he's found Synch and M. Letting them know what is going on, he takes Synch with him to diffuse bombs while M goes to find the rest of GenX and to help move people out of the building as fast as they can. Further in the building, Emma sneaks up on an unexpecting Adrienne and returns the beating she received. Emma asks her fallen sister why she did all this. Turns out Adrienne is sick of Emma take everything from everyone, stealing and using her powers to make her way to the top. She thinks Emma doesn't deserve it, she should have been the one to coast to the top. Now she's just going to return the hurt she felt through life. M runs in on the continuing fight and is told by Emma to keep going and find the kids, this fight is personal. Deeper still in the building, we center on Synch and Sean as they diffuse bombs. Synch is frustrated following Sean around, thinking they can stop twice as many bombs if they were to split up. Sean refuses completely, their would be no one to synch up with if he needed it, and runs off down the hall to find the next bomb. Caught up in the flood of people, M, Skin, Paige and Jubilee catch up with Sean...but where's Ev? Unable to move in the packed hallway, M makes her way out to find Ev by climbing over people's shoulders. With everyone's insistence, and Jubilee's regret at not being the best one to help him, they charge through the crowd to find Ev.

Ev finds yet another bomb centered in a dorm room. He enters unaware that the group of guys that attacked him earlier are waiting for him. They pin him as he enters the room, they're certain that this "mutant freak" is behind what's going on. Ev pleads with them, they don't understand what's going on, they're completely unaware of the bomb in the room. Ev calls out to M as he tries to synch to her power, but she yells in panic that he's too far away to synch properly and won't be strong enough to deal with the blast. Ev tells her he's sorry, he doesn't know what else to do and people will die if he doesn't try. "It's my only option!" he yells as the bomb ticks to zero and explodes! Everyone is shocked, Adrienne takes the opportunity to gloat to her sister, thrilled that she could finally hurt her sister. As the rest of the team run to the scene, Emma turns to her sister with a ruthless burning in her eyes. "You sick, cruel, twisted... ....right. That's it." Emma states furiously as she reaches to the spot where she hid her gun. "I'm FINISHED with you."

The next events are devestating. The boys who attacked Ev are limping away from the charred wreck. Sean holds back Jubilee while the rest of the crew look onto the scene in horror. All we see is Monet crying and cradling Synch's lifeless body as she pleads hysterically for him not to die on her.

Later...on the school grounds amongst the charred remains of the building, Emma is explaining to the rest of the team that everything is secured. Adrienne's files were destroyed, Adrienne is...gone. All evidence is disposed of and the parents and students do not remember a thing thanks to her mind-wiping powers. Emma and Sean have decided to make some changes, they feel they aren't helping the kids well enough anymore by keeping them cooped up in the Acadamy. Sean feels very badly, believing he hadn't trained them properly. Now the Acadamy is supposed to be their home, the students are in a unique position to make a difference in the world, if that's what they want to choose. "It's your life children, your time. So what do yeh want to do with it?" He pleads to them, allowing them to choose the path they want to take. Do they stay with the Acadamy to improve and learn of their powers to help the world....or leave?
