GENERATION X #1:
The next generation of mutants is here! Phalanx is gone and the team is getting together for the first time at the acadamy. First appearance of Chamber. Things are fine until Emplate, the genetic vampire, tries to attack Chamber at the airport and nearly kills Paige in the process. Gen X defeats Emplate and return to the acadamy to find that Gateway has dropped off a mysterious guest unconsious on the front lawn.......Penance?
GENERATION X #2:
Who is the mysterious Penance and why was she dropped off by Gateway? Finding out that she was held prisoner for years by Emplate, GenX continue to search for answers. Penance has different plans...survival. Determined not to be a prisoner anymore Penny breaks out of the medical ward and runs outside into a bad storm. The GenXers split up to find her. Banshee and Husk find her alright! If she has to kill them to live then so be it!
GENERATION X #3:
Banshee and Husk are trapped in a tunnel that Penance has burrowed. Penance tries to keep Banshee from sonic screaming and gets a kick in the gut instead. She wounds Husk and escapes. She then finds Synch and Jubilee and tries to cut through them. With Synch altering his power to Penny's diamond hard skin she cannot cut through them so she runs from them also. Third times a charm and when Penance finds Emma and M she gets knocked unconcious. Banshee sonic screams at M to let Penance escape so she can't hurt anyone else and she finds Chamber. Chamber psionically talks to Penance and calms her down enough so that the others can take her back to the mansion. In the meantime, Husk and Skin end up playing scrabble while she's recuperating.
GENERATION X #4:
X-mas get-a-way, half of the teens run into armed guards trying to stop a "mutant" trying to get into a local school. Chamber tries to "talk" to Penance (this is where the apples come in...) while Paige "looks on". Later, teens take out the guards to help the "mutant" and end up encountering the Orphan Maker! Teens fight the Ophan Maker and Jubilee sneaks in the school to finds the "mutant" Elliot, who is really a deformed child. He's holding the one person that believed him, his teacher, who just died of a heart attack. Teens defeat Orphan Maker. Won
one battle, lost the other and they retreat back home.
GENERATION X #5:
Gateway shows up and "tells" Chamber to talk to Paige who is upset about the Legacy Virus. Rest of GenX kids are in N.Y. city when Monet goes into a "trance". Someone sees Skin and he makes sure the guy knows that he is "still dead" and that especially Torre should know that. Banshee tries to talk to Penance who has calmed down alot. In N.Y. the kids' car is trashed and Ms. Frost is gone. At home, Paige is so upset by the Legacy Virus that she gets drunk so Chamber tries to talk to her. In N.Y, kids go to find Frost and in an elevator they are attacked by Hemmingway of Gene Nation. There they find Artie who can give off Psionic Holograms to help GenX find Emma Frost.
GENERATION X #6:
Gene Nation has kidnapped Ms. Frost and are using Leech, a morlock who can cancel mutant powers, to dampen her telepathic powers. Kids go underground to get her. At home Paige is still drunk and hitting on Chamber (when she's not puking in the bathtub mind you..) In N.Y....Frost knocks Leech unconsious to cancel his dampening power and beats Gene Nation. All the team is together when the Dark Beast, who was looking on, blows up the tunnels to kill them. They escape and go to Xaviers to recover. Guest apperance of Wolverine. At home the girls dorm gets blown up when Paige tries to kiss Jono and he freaks out.
GENERATION X #7:
Banshee has nightmares about his past. Emma is dragged into his dreams since they are in the same building. (she is a strong telepath) Chamber thinks hard about what he did to the dorm. Paige tries to talk to him and ends up making it worse. Monet and Jubi argue while Skin and Synch build a treehouse in the bio-sphere for Artie and Leech. Banshee recieves a call from Ireland saying that Cassidy Keep has disappeared."Can you say Road Trip?"
GENERATION X #8:
GenX go to last site of Cassidy Keep and find a portal. Synch and Chamber are sucked in and it disappears. Frost opens the warp back up telepathically and the rest enter. First appearance of Mondo on his island with Cordelia. Mondo is later caught in a trap which was actually planned by Cordelia. GenX arrive in a Fairy world where Synch and Chamber are in another part of the land and have to fight Goblins. Emma and Sean are put in a dungeon while a fairy tries to trick them into fixing the "glamour machine". Monet trances again and starts fixing the machine so the others help to keep an eye on her. Skin and Penance go to the door to find a Dragon ready to kill them for tampering with the machine.
GENERATION X #9:
Skin tries to delay the dragon while the rest fix the glamour machine. Synch and Chamber help Sean and Emma escape the dungeon. Jubilee and Paige get the machine in working order when Emma, Sean, Synch and Chamber find them. Skin and Penny get rid of the dragon while Chamber uses his bio blast powers as fuel for the glamour machine. Emma and Monet talk while everyone celebrates and waits for the castle to return home in the morning.
GENERATION X #10:
(takes place after GenX '95) The kids celebrate at Mondo's Orientation Party. Monet goes to see Penny in the infirmary and see what is taking Banshee so long. M finds Banshee "dead" and takes him to the infimary. Emma senses him psionically and enters his mind to bring his spirit back. GenX take off to find the person who did this. In Sean's mind, Emma sees his life and realizes that this is the nightmare she got sucked into in GenX #7. Sean was tracking a murder who then killed his partner and turned into Omega Red. Jubi ponders over her friend Penny while the rest get ambushed by the one who "killed" Banshee.....Omega Red!
